"You've brought change to the Devildom, to RAD, and most importantly, to each one of us."
Where am I…?You wake with a sharp inhale, your eyes fluttering wide as the shadows clear from your vision. One moment, you are sitting at home, going about your day, and the next? Well, you are in some sort of courtroom. The ceiling stretches high above your prone form, and though the windows lined by ornate banners promise to guard you from the midnight chill, a shiver still runs down your spine. There are several men seated before you.And they are all looking your way. Before you can panic, respond to the flight instinct prickling your veins, the grandiose man in the seat of the chief judge stands. He spreads his arms in a gesture of welcome, the deep crimson of his jacket shining bright in the moody atmosphere. With a boyish smile, he speaks your name and–as if it will explain everything–declares…“Welcome to the Devildom.”

Zine Specs
🐏 Counting Sheep will feature multiple works from various artists and writers, with all content focused on the inclusion of your personal MCs in a retelling of Obey Me! One Master to Rule Them All season 1 and season 2. We welcome pieces including your main character, be it self-insert or original character. Please see the FAQs and Guidelines for more information.🐏 Counting Sheep has a theme: Retelling the original Obey Me! story. In the application, you will be asked to mark down which lessons you are most interested in representing. You will then be asked to jot down some ideas of how you’d like to represent a piece from that lesson. The more detail the better, as we will be assigning lessons upon acceptance in order to ensure we are smoothly retelling the story through different eyes.🐏 This will be a free digital zine. Download will be available on our social media, and on our carrd upon completion of the project. There is no compensation for this project. This is purely meant to be a fun experience, as well as a chance for all sorts of creators with a passion for Obey Me! to meet and mingle.🐏 The zine itself will be SFW. Mature themes such as light violence and blood may be depicted. Suggestive content will be allowed for some lessons (Gold Hellfire Newt Syrup, right?) but nothing that would be too NSFW.

Mod Charly - It/All - Head Mod/Art Mod
At first, Charly didn't have a big interest in Obey Me! when their partner came up with the game installed on his phone in April 2020. He himself had only installed it because of some comments online reacting to the awful advertisements the game had, where some fans had jumped in and said, "Hey! The game is actually pretty good!" After only a few days and the husband talking incessantly about how Charly would love the game (and one character specifically), they couldn't hold back their curiosity anymore and caved, installing it. It didn't take long for Charly to fall in love with not only the game, but especially Beelzebub, who up to this day is still number one on Charly's Official Husbando Tierlist™!Since 2020, Charly has worked tirelessly on fanart of their favourite Obey Me! characters, and even drew some smaller comics that piqued the interest of the fandom. She herself worked on two zines for the fandom who aren't out yet, but excited her so much that the idea of making her own zine project was fast implemented in her head. With the end of Obey Me, Charly decided that he wants to make a zine for the fans. For those who love the games as much as he did! For those who put so much love and care into the fandom, with making their own MCs and OCs, filling those lines with words and stories and emotions, to bring the world of Obey Me! to life. This zine is for those fans, and Charly is grateful to have found amazing people to help them make this vision into a reality.Charly can be found on Not-Twitter and Instagram. Charly's zine experience includes:
🐏 Comic Artist for Stardust: A Belphegor Zine
🐏 Illustrated fanfic Artist/Writer for Level Up! A Leviathan Fanzine

A Leviathan Fanzine (now in formatting period), she is excited to take on another passion project. Mod Brie - She/Her - Graphics Mod
Brie fell in love with Obey Me! on a rainy day in February 2022. With nothing better to do during lockdown, she found comfort in the demon brothers. She discovered that many people from the lovely community felt the same and wanted to keep nourishing this feeling of comfort.Working full time as a graphic designer, she works best with a deadline and participated in two Obey Me! Secret Santa projects to spread some love for this franchise. This zine feels like a love letter and despite being a total noob in zines she feels honored to have a chance to contribute to this amazing project.

Mod Starr - They/Them - Formatting Mod
As always, Starr promises they're very normal about Obey Me! and twice as normal about cows, scorpions and spears.
Asking them about lesson 16 has consequences that have not yet been researched in depth, so please exercise caution when doing so.Starr can be found on Not-Twitter and Tumblr. Starr's previous zine experience includes:

Rules & Guidelines
First and foremost, Counting Sheep is meant to be a retelling of Obey Me: One Master to Rule Them All season 1 and season 2, with a focus on your MCs! This means that there are limited spaces in the project, for we want to ensure the story is retold smoothly with equal spotlights on the characters. This means that your application and portfolio are very important! Please see below for the project rules and guidelines, as well as how to apply as a contributor.🐏 Be mindful to take the schedule into consideration before applying. Additionally, if you have to step out of the project at any point, please try to notify us as soon as possible.🐏 All applicants must be at least 16 years old.🐏 We will NOT be accepting any contributors who are found creating or supporting pedophilic or incestuous content.🐏 All applicants must have a Discord account as this will be the only way we will be communicating with contributors to organize the zine. If you do not have one, we will need you to make one if you are brought on as a contributor.🐏 In an effort to make the PDF as consistent in quality as possible, we do require all pieces to be digital in nature. As much as we love traditional art, it is hard to capture its quality through a scan or photo. Specific specs for digital pieces will be provided in the Discord server once we enter our creation stage.🐏 Plagiarism and AI generated pieces will not be tolerated; all works must be your own. Any contributor that is caught violating this rule will automatically be excluded from the project with no warning. Additionally, if you have anything to do with the minting or sales of NFTs, we ask you not to apply.🐏 Contributors retain the rights to their contribution, even after the zine has been completed.🐏 A zine is a professional space; in order to keep the project fun and stress-free for everyone, absolutely no harassment, discrimination, or bullying will be tolerated.🐏 Any contributor demonstrating guideline-breaking behavior will get one warning. A second warning will result in being removed from the project and Discord server; this is applicable at any point, without any compensation given.🐏 This rule is valid from the moment you’ve accepted to be a contributor until the very end of the project. Depending on the seriousness of their behavior, a contributor might immediately be removed without a warning.

Frequently Asked Questions
🐏 What is a zine?A zine, short for fanzine, is a fan-published and unofficial collection of artwork and writing with additional merchandise. As we are not producing physical zines, this will be a free downloadable PDF.🐏 Will this zine feature shipping content?Considering the nature of the Obey Me! games, pieces including the characters’ relationship with your MC will be accepted. We would prefer if other shipping is not included in your piece, as the focus should be on your MC and the retelling of the story.🐏 What if I don’t have an MC?That is alright! As long as you come up with a character (self-insert or original character) to draw or write by the time the creation period starts, then you can still apply. We do not require art or writing of your MC in the applications.🐏 How will contributors be compensated for their work/time?As this is a free digital zine, there will be no compensation besides access to the downloads. We are simply looking to share our MCs and the story we all know and love!🐏 How many contributors is this project looking for? There are 40 lessons, though most of them have been split into different sections depending on content. There is room for roughly 60 creators, though mods reserve the right to add to or subtract from that as they see fit. Our priority is ensuring the story is retold as smoothly as possible through visuals and writing.🐏 Can I contribute to the zine if I’m not a creator? There are options! If this is something you’re interested in, please contact us directly and we can discuss some ways to get involved.🐏 I’ve never worked on a zine before. How do I start?Don’t worry - it can be intimidating, but we’re here to help! First, you check the schedule and guidelines to ensure you are a good fit for the zine. Then, you make a portfolio. This is best done on Google Drive (just ensure the permissions are set for anyone with the link to view). Then, fill out the application. If you are accepted, you will get a lesson assignment and the link to the Discord server on March 8th and you will be able to chat directly with the team. Here, you will receive all the specs of your work (page dimensions, rough word count, how to save your file in CYMK, etc.)
